JOB TITLE: Bookkeeper / Admin
LOCATION: SAN FRANCISO BAY AREA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank deposits and multiple funds

• Assist with payroll-related activities and oversee ancillary budgets

• Administer order/payment processing

• Manage insurance plans (payments, policies, and claims)

• Support the CFO with special projects

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum three years recent senior level experience performing progressively complex accounting functions

• BS or higher degree/certification(s)

 

KEY COMPETENCIES:

• Proficiency in accounting programs (QuickBooks / Excel)

• Experience with systems and process design

• Understand GAAP principals and financial statements

• Pro-active and attuned to staff and operational needs: identify and resolve vulnerable areas with demonstrated initiative to develop effective strategies via process/accountability assessment and improvement

• Organized, focused, detail-oriented and adaptable to changing priorities

• Self-directed, productive and consistently able to efficiently complete tasks accurately and independently; seeks guidance only in complex or unique situations
